Never Give Up

You've been laid off from your 9-5'er for awhile now and the life that you've always enjoyed is suddenly being threatened by the lack of money coming in.   You decide to go out and see if you can't find another job.  After writing up your resume, you go out and submit it to almost every company that you think may be looking for your kind of expertise.

Week's go by and you receive not a single phone call about your applications.  Things by now are getting really tight on the home front and your family is starting to come unraveled... not knowing when more money will be coming in.  You are becoming more and more agitated, things just are not looking good at all.

You go online once again to try to find some sort of job.  By now you will take anything... a job at McDonalds would be better than this!

Lo and behold, you run across an ad saying that you can make $1000 by next week, working from the comfort of your own home, if you will follow these simple instructions. 

"What simple instructions? " you think to yourself. 

"Just call this number (XXX-XXX-XXXX) for details!" the ad says.




So, you pick up the phone, dial the number, and listen to a pre-recorded message on the other end.

"Now you too can earn money from the comfort of your own home just by following these simple steps..."

"Oh yay." you think. "Another one of these things."  But you listen.  For some reason, this one seems different.  More reasonable.  Not like the pitches you are used to. 

You are hooked.   From that point on, you are a "home business entrepreneur".  Congratulations!  You have finally made the decision to be free!  Free from the confines of "Big Brother".  Free from ever having to work for someone else!  You work for YOU!

How does it feel?  Pretty good, I'd say.

How does one find the perfect home business for them? 

Number One:  Find something that you are passionate about.  For me, it was MonaVie.  I wanted to help people feel better, look better and, I wanted to help the people who needed some help.

That's it.  One step.

If you are passionate about something, you will do whatever it takes to accomplish it.  You will go "out of your comfort zone".  You won't really care about the people who ridicule what you're doing.  They just don't get it. 

And the family members who just shake their heads, feeling sorry for "the poor sap", don't get it either.  Until you start bringing in the money. 

It took awhile, lots of rejections, but somewhere you found the strength and courage to keep going.  Your motto became "Never Stop, Never Give Up!".   You went to meetings, you went to conventions,  you just kept working the program!  And finally, it worked for YOU!

Now, your family can go out and do the things that they love, again.  No longer do they have to watch what they spend, because who knows when more will come in. 

Well, It HAS come in.

Your Ship has come in! 

The moral to this story is... never give up!  If you want something bad enough, you will get it!  You will work it to the point that nothing can stop you.
